Flawless Finish: In order to pull off the red lip right you must have a flawless base as to avoid any irregular skin redness from competing with your lips. Use blush or bronzer sparingly.

Balance: Balance striking red lips with dark, monochromatic eyes. Eyeliner is a must: you want to emphasize the red without washing out the rest of your face. Don’t forget to strengthen your eyebrows with a pencil for a bolder face.

Make it Last: Because red lips aren’t just reserved for eveningwear, you want to apply them to last.
                    1. Apply lip primer or foundation over your lip area.
                    2. Take lipliner and line your lips with the edge of the pencil, not with the point to avoid any harsh lines.
                    3. Layer your lipcolor on, blotting in between each application for lasting color.
