Should "treatment" product be a part of everyday skincare routine?

Treatment products look, smell and feel like a moisturizer but it's normally formulated to be used in conjunction with your regular moisturizer. For example, Estee Lauder's Night Repair, Diminish, and Lancome's Primordiale are products that go under your favorite moisturizers for extra prevention and protection, while products like Chanel's Total Defense, for example, combine treatment with moisturizer.
