How much moisturizer is optimal on a daily basis? Would more moisturizer application result in better looking skin?

More problems are caused by over-moisturizing than under-moisturizing.
Skin can absorb only a finite amount, so why slather on expensive cream and
create a potential for attracting additional dirt that can clog pores?
Too much moisturizer can also cause skin to look dull, rather than
luminescent. Apply moisturizer when the skin is still damp, especially if you
have dry skin, for it will be better absorbed.
