Korean Australian actress Yerin Ha has rapidly captivated global audiences, securing a major breakout role in season 4 of Bridgerton.  Across eight episodes, this year she delivered a compelling central performance starring as Sophie Baek alongside Benedict Bridgerton in their Cinderella-inspired romance, firmly establishing her as a rising international star.

Before entering the Regency era, Ha earned widespread recognition through Netflix’s mystery drama The Survivors in 2025, starring in all 6 episodes.  She also accumulated notable screentime from the Steven Spielberg-produced Halo series.  Based on the hit video game franchise, the show featured her in a main role as Kwan Ha in 17 episodes from 2022 to 2024.  Her feature filmography includes the 2022 Australian horror comedy Sissy, which premiered at the SXSW festival.  On television, Ha has appeared in the crime drama Troppo, the Stan miniseries Bad Behaviour, and the sci-fi prequel series Dune: Prophecy.

Born in Sydney, the 28-year-old actor was raised in a family deeply immersed in the performing arts.  Her parents met while studying acting, and her grandmother Son Sook is a prominent South Korean stage and screen veteran.  Driven to pursue a professional career, Ha moved to South Korea at age fifteen to train at the Kaywon High School of Arts in Seoul, where she spent three years undertaking rigorous daily performance courses.  She then returned to Australia to complete a bachelor of fine arts degree in acting at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2018. Shortly after finishing her studies, she made her professional stage debut with the Sydney Theatre Company in a 2019 adaptation of Lord of the Flies.

Yerin Ha’s budding career has built high-profile partnerships with luxury and beauty brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Charlotte Tilbury.

Her strong classical training, diverse cultural influences, and dynamic versatility continue to expand her footprint across film, television, and theatre worldwide.
