Among Target’s previous fashion collaborators are respected industry names like Missoni (2011), Zac Posen (2010), Alexander McQueen (2009), and Isaac Mizrahi (2002-2008). When “Missoni for Target” launched fall of last year, Target’s site crashed because of the high-volume demand. We expect no different come February. Perhaps what we find the most promising about Jason Wu’s line is his keen eye for feminine lines and tasteful detailing without unnecessary statements that scream Jason Wu for Target.
Jason Wu has stated that his inspiration for the line comes from “French new wave cinema” and that people should be expecting “nonchalant” designs. He stated “I think American women are telling us that they want beautiful clothes and they want something that is versatile something that is quite timeless and something that they can enjoy not just for one season but for a long time.” We certainly hope so!
Note: You won’t find anything over $59.99. Pieces range from $19.99 to $59.99 for clothes and $19.99 to $49.99 for accessories.

Jason Wu for Target is available in stores and online from February 5th through March 6th, only. Mark your calendars!
